Point Grey Development

In the Vancouver neighbourhood of Point Grey, bordered by 4th Avenue and 8th Avenue and West of Highbury, sits the JERICHO LANDS, which are currently co-owned by Canada Lands Company (CLC) and the MST Nations (Musquem Indian Band, Squamish First Nation and Tsleil-Waututh Nation).
Prior to 2014, this 90 acre site was partially owned by the Department of Natural Defense on the eastern portion, while the provincial government owned the western part. Portions of the property are currently leased to West Point Grey Academy private school and the Vancouver Park Board.

Under the Jericho Lands Policy Planning Program, items for discussion are:

  • Reconciliation
  • Affordable housing
  • Land use
  • Density and height
  • Public benefits
  • Transportation
  • Built form
  • Character
  • Sustainability
  • Infrastructure
  • Phases of development

If you are interested in the future of this land, the city is co-hosting with CLC and the MST Nations, an OPEN HOUSE this coming week.
